FYI, you have to keep taking ivermectin periodically for the rest of your life as a preventative because of how it works.

Ivermectin is designed to kill mostly larvae (baby parasites), most adult parasites but not necessarily all adult parasites. Adult parasites continue to lay larvae as you continue to take ivermectin and you have to wait for the adult larvae to die which can take up to 10 years. Even after theoretically finally getting rid of all parasites in your body, you will likely get infected again in some way so then you need to take ivermectim again for the rest of your life as a preventative.
