In the Greek mythology Europa was a beautiful Phoenician princess.

Europa caught the eye of Zeus who promptly turned himself into a white bull, adorned with flowers and petals.

Zeus in the guise of the bull took her all the way to Crete where he raped her.

Europa then gave birth to king Minos of Crete.

The rape of Europa is also represented on all our most common bills and some euro coins.

There are many interpretations to the myth but it's telling that they chose to heavily promote that one.
