I have always been the center of trouble and controversy in my work, social groups and even family life because I will stick to my guns on what I perceive, measure, record or observe even if no one else in my group does the same. They may form a consensus about something they share belief in, but I do not let them influence my beliefs if we differ. This was clearly seen in the (((covid))) scamdemic where I, much to the frustration of many others around me, refused to conform or be socially pressured even when my job was threatened. We all need to make sure we stick to our guns when we see everyone else is taking crazy pills.

Good.

It's not easy, but do you want "the easy path"? I don't.

While this is important for people to know. It's also 1/2 of the data.

  1. In the original, what you see in the video, the people who keep staying with the group are about 70%. But you never hear about the 30% who do not comply.

  2. In a different variation, they had 4 actors choose wrong, 1 actor choose right. The subjects would also choose the right answer. Indicating, that if people saw just a bit of division, they would not be swayed unless "literally everyone".

  3. Reward/punishment. They'd start acting smart if they knew that they would be rewarded / be punished.

  4. The actors were ugly/pretty.

The most important point is the first, and one that you should already know yourself, is that the majority of people, will go with the flow, and not wish to go against it. BUT NOT EVERYONE. The split is 70/30 and it is those 30 who become (what psychologists call) 'leaders'

That is kind of what I was looking for. I was going to ask how they picked people to be part of the study. I would never just go along to get along, that is a weak mind who does.
