Wait. Do they not use these anymore?

I was thinking the same thing. I figured these would still be useful, especially if you have kids. I wouldn't know though because the wife does all of the clothes shopping for the kids.

I buy a specific pair of shoes, and dont need to be measured anymore for them, but the last time I stepped into a shoe store, they still had em. This was like 3 years ago. I know higher end places like Redwing stores have machines and lasers to measure, but there's no way a smaller end shoe store can afford that shit, to say nothing of what niggers would do to it

Yes, why do mechanically in 5 seconds with a $20 part when you can do it in 4 minutes with a several thousand dollar machine!

Gotta love the 1st world!

That's what I was thinking, though I guess once a woman hits 19 and a guy hits 27, there is no need for it anymore. Maybe that's what they were (poorly) going for.

1st job JC Penney shoe dept. Made a mad dash to beat out co-worker and wait on this magazine-quality blonde bombshell. She slipped her shoe off and floored me with the most horrid, foul-smelling foot stench I have ever encountered. So discretely excused myself back to the counter and told my buddy ""Charles, I'm sorry. you deserve this customer more than me."

I still smile.

I've seen stores that still have these.

I was in a shoe store today and saw stickers on the ground with a bunch of different kids sizes. You get your kid to stand on the stickers to figure out their size.
