This is sloppy reporting by Breitbart. The number of overdose deaths had already been (nearly) doubling every year, with 259 in 2018, 441 in 2019, and then 700-800 in 2020. It's hard to parse how much of this is from Covid lockdowns and how much is just from it being a typical drug-ridden violent liberal shit hole. They couldn't even bother to give us the statistics from 2018 so I'm guessing they're just pandering to right-wingers. I like to have a complete picture from my news, not just be selectively fed information to linearly lead me to the conclusion they want me to reach. I like Epoch Times, they're the only news source I take seriously anymore. Also they by thugs sent by the Chinese Communist Party so they must be doing something right.
