"Prior to departure for the United States, all refugees originating from the Middle East, Asia, North Africa, Latin American, & Caribbean should receive presumptive therapy with ivermectin for Strongyloides infection and with albendazole for infections caused by soil-transmitted helminths (Table 1). Dosing for ivermectin may be based on weight and available tablet size (Table 2)."

There is no convincing the stupid people.

IF THE NEWS DOESN'T SAY IT, IT ISN'T TRUE TO THEM

Yes but it is good for other people to see that this is standard protocol so they aren't afraid of taking ivermectin.

this is standard protocol

For intestinal worms

Yes, for intestinal worms.

People are afraid of dying from a medicine used regularly with little to no side effects. People aren't used to caring for themselves.

Be sure and give them the horse quantities

Everyone should worm themselves annually, even if you don't have pets. How many times are things recalled for listeria or ecoli? We have no idea where our food has been and you certainly can't depend on washing and cooking to protect you 100% . Especially if you ever eat out.

Yes the idea of parasites is disgusting. In fact, until I started pretending I'm a vet for my goats due to no local small ruminant vet, it was one of my only "fears." When I was young my step father told me of a girl who died from wasting away when she was 12. He was very old and from the back woods of Virginia, so she was placed on the dining table for everyone to say their goodbyes until they buried her. He said that a day or so after her death they saw a tape worm over 20' crawling out of her body and out the house. Nightmare inducing for me as a child.

It only makes sense to deworm. You don't have to look into the toilet if you're squeamish. I never do when taking the dewormers.

BECAUSE THEY COME FROM UNCLEAN AREAS WITH DANGEROUS PARASITES

You dumbfucks are retarded.

"Recommendations for management of Strongyloides in refugees from Loa loa-endemic areas emphasize a screen-and-treat approach, rather than presumptive high-dose albendazole."

Why are you selectively picking what you share and avoiding sharing relevant information?

It's said that in the U.S., more than 60 million people are chronically infected with toxoplasma gondii. That's only one strain of parasite. The United States lies to itself about this topic. How much of our food comes from outside of the US?

I know about toxoplasmosis. It's why cat owners are always batshit insane, open-borders faggots. With very few exceptions.
