If you get offered a plea deal to avoid risk of getting punished for a crime you didn't do and you are later found not-guilty, the prosecutor should have to accept the plea deal himself.

I wasn’t that impressed by them when I watched the trial. Especially during the cross examination of Kyle, they just let terrible questions fly. No objections where they needed to put some in. All’s well that ends well, but it’s a good thing the prosecution was incompetent on top of also having no case.
