I don't think people understand how fucked LA is with the 10 being shut down. Los Angeles is a rat nest of freeway, however, of all the freeways going in and out of Los Angeles city proper, the 10 is the ONLY one that goes straight through east to west. The 101 goes the Hollywood, and the 60 goes UP to the north south freeway, but the 10 is the only one that goes straight the fuck through. The detours to go around this are all fucky and VERY indirect. Surface street routes into Los Angeles city proper are.....scarce and very slow going due to traffic lights.
Unless they correct this quickly, downtown, which includes city hall, courts, dodger stadium, and many other central locations, are going to be borderline inaccessible.
