I really don't find her unfounded speculation particularly convincing.

It "could" be a terrorist attack, in that what it hit was a significant target. But, there is no actual evidence that it actually is. This makes her look like a fucking lunatic.

The shower thought I had just now is: What if this is being done in order to force ships to dock in NY in order to counter the truckers boycotting NY, and force more money there through fees to also make up for lost revenues from people fleeing the city, and the large increase in people who just ride the public transit without paying a fare?

What's more telling is how the ship lost power before the collision. Someone had to shutdown the engines in order for that to happen.
