I helped that statistic, I bought my wife 3 firearms this year. We both have have memberships at a range. I remind her how I care by helping her defend herself. I hate to admit my wife's grouping is better than mine. We're not fooling around. I'm training her to properly use a G43. At first she was afraid to shoot a 9mm. But after about 30 minutes, she was grouping extremely well. I tend to shake my G19 too much during firing.
The funny thing is she's now talking about red dot sights. LOL.
