The gunman started shooting just after 2pm on Sunday, according to Transit Police Superintendent Richard Sullivan.
The suspect fire between four five shots at an individual on the southbound platform in what police believe was a 'targeted' attack.
He then fled the scene shortly after the police arrived and remains at large.
'This is an active investigation were we are determining the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident,' Sullivan said.
'That being said, preliminarily our investigation suggests the following: a male, while on the southbound platform, apparently armed with a firearm appears to fire approximately 4 to 5 rounds at a targeted individual.'
