I followed this case. After knowing exactly what Colbert's team was doing, there's nothing to see, here. The situations are not even remotely close to the Jan 6 stuff.
They were invited and had permission. They just stayed after hours and got in trouble by security. Security which was beefed up and had higher standards and safety due to the Jan 6 stuff.
Colbert is a ripe twat, yes. But this situation is a false equivalence. I think the original point was a joke by Tucker Carlson but folks took Tucker's joke segment on this as serious.
