While I can see the point to that argument, I disagree. They call themselves Democrats while avowing Communist and Socialist principles. To me that makes the terms synonyms. Especially since most "Democrats" agree with the worldview. I don't think "the party of the little guy" when I hear the word "Democrat." I think "Communist."

This is the problem. Democrats **ARE NOT** communists. BUT people who call themselves as democrats are often actually communists. It's the same as the (((fellow white))) [but in reverse] idea.

When European countries had enough of Communism and revolted against it, the Communists slithered into the shadows, shed their filthy Communist skin, re-emerged and started calling themselves "Socialists". I think people need to finally accept the following; 1 - the current GOP (not what the GOP actually is or means) is a democrat party. 2 - the current DNC (not what the DNC actually is or means) is a communist party. 3 - the current GOP is NOT conservative. 4 - the current DNC is NOT liberal. 5 - the current DNC / GOP communist uniparty IS totalitarian (communist)
The idea (to me) that people still believe that the (current) DNC and (current) GOP are the same as those of the past, that they also say they understand and believe the idea of "the uniparty" all while ALSO believing that (from one side) the (current) GOP is Authoritarian and (from the other side) the (current) DNC is communist (totalitarian) are all mutually (of all others) exclusive beliefs. The amount of cognitive dissonance between any of those beliefs is astounding and hard for me to understand being accepted by the masses.
I do know the terms used that break minds in such a way and it's things like "Well I'm fiscally conservative but socially liberal" that ALWAYS slide EVERYTHING into child-rape territory (communism) etc. So while I know the mechanisms of action I do not understand the resultant acceptance with little pushback. But with that I still point to my initial list of 5 above.
