You mean federal reserve fueled loans. It's not like our taxes are what really funds the government. Taxes just exist so money has value as a don't go to jail token you have to pay once a year. The fed prints money and gives it to the banks (already a sweet gig for the banks). The US government then funds itself from loans from the banks (so now not only do the banks get free money but our government is indebted to them). That then gets laundered into political money to make sure there are always politicians who won't question the current system.

The only reason taxes exist is so what the fed prints has value because if it didn't there would be no power gained from having a money printer. The fact that you have to aquire extra money beyond satisfying your needs to give to the government creates demand for that commodity. Because it is in demand it can then also be used to pay other people and becomes a currency. But the dollar isn't backed by gold. It's backed by threat of a prison sentence.

But the dollar isn't backed by gold. It's backed by threat of a prison sentence.

And that threat is substantiated by the power of the government. That power is secured by war and the amassing (and spending) of resources. All purposed with subjugating the populace under the council of that very same "money".

Edit: Do you notice how circular it is? There is no power in government, only in the people. If the minds of the people are dominated, they are easily driven towards building their own prisons.

[Not directed at Ex-Redditor, just anyone in general] Unless you make $86K or more a year, you are are not a net-positive federal tax contributor. So don't worry about this if you make less than that because your opinion doesn't matter.

That is simply not true. I don't make that and I get no benefits and pay taxes. Even a bum who doesn't make anything pays tax with every item he buys. No not just sales tax, 20-25% of the cost of all items are hidden or embedded taxes. So even the bum is paying towards many companies tax debt.

[–] 2 pts

Far more than 20-25%. Every single step of every single item purchased has compounding layers of taxation.

Tree: Step 1, requires gasoline (taxed), chain lube (taxed), chainsaw (taxed) Step 2: requires diesel (taxed), vehicle (taxed), using roads (taxed) Step 3: requires electricity (taxed), factory (taxed), employees (taxed)

etc, etc

A goddamn table is taxed some 800-1,200 individual times along it's delivery to you. What would it cost without that shit?

And those greedy bastards want to add a VAT tax on top of that every step of the way.

That is simply not true. I don't make that and I get no benefits and pay taxes.

You're wrong.

Even I do and I paid $72K in taxes last year. Everyone does. That's the point. Some more than others, obviously. You don't hit break even until around $86K.

I’m not seeing the connection. US aid didn’t go through FTX, so mentioning it makes the story unnecessarily convoluted.

FTX seems like a fucked up scam, no doubt, but I’d love some help understanding how the gov was attached in any way. It looks more like this was all done on the fringes; something FTX set up on their own.

The fuck it didn't.

US aid went to Ukraine. Ukraine then partnered with FTX "for donations", when in reality Ukraine aid was funneled into FTX, and then FTX management funneled money into political campaigns in the US.

This is how the USSA kickback grift works.

You're not seeing the connection because you're blind - or your paycheck depends on you not understanding.

Nope - still not seeing it.

USAid -> Ukraine gov -> [(((Ukrainian Banks))), (((Ukrainian politicians))), (((Ukrainian businesses))] -> [1: US business -> (((them))) -> Democrats], 2: Ukrainian people

Individual donations through crypto -> FTX -> [1: (((FTX Pockets))) -> (((them))) -> Democrats], [2: Ukraine Banks -> [[2a: (((Ukranian Bankers))), 2b: (((Ukrainian politicians))), 2c: (((Ukrainian businesses)))]] -> Ukrainian people]

There are two different swimlanes. Don't get me wrong, they're both nothing but money laundering schemes for jews, but i still don't see how the FTX one crosses back into the government swimlane.

Don't worry bout it then. Nothing to see here Citizen move along. Government aid monies have nothing at all to do with this (((crypto-caper))) otherwise it would be um like clearly obvious ....

You ain't the best analyst, kid. You're letting nihilism cloud your judgement.

and who knows how much ended up in secret Swiss bank accounts.

Ukraine paid US aid into these scams.
