Makes me wonder how much for shipping.

$30K would be my guess. Taking some estimates, assuming US:

  1. Freight truck to The Odesa port. Maybe $1K post war, but hard to get out right now.
  2. Container rates from Odesa to a US port were in the $5K range before. Much higher right now. This would be a special lift / load (vs a container), so maybe double that.
  3. US legal fees + deactivation (gotta weld the barrel closed and remove any other weapons systems.) Maybe $5K.
  4. Trucking to your destination. Wide load, requires a convoy. Call it $10K.

Biggest issue would the Ukrainian gov't confiscating it at the port. I doubt you would get it out without some serious bribes, etc.

Well fully functional guns on tanks are legal. Its the ordinance to load it with, were youll have probs with.

Interesting. Friend of mine bought a non-running tank for a war memorial and they made him weld the barrel.

I have no idea if that was local / county / state / or federal. Fairly liberal state, so may be a state requirement.

Maybe cheaper to buy it from Russia. They aren't sending their advanced T-14 tanks, which are more advanced than US tanks. The T-14 can stop any Javelin or M1 sabot.

I'm glad you pointed that out. I wonder if it's too late to cancel my order?
