What do you people think ?

I am not wondering if it will start WW3 or not, it will.

I am more interested if it is feasible from the logistic point of view.

It is all nice to imagine to magically move drones around, but you need logistics, lots of it....

This would be a fighter pilot's dream. Easy ace. I could easily create a combat drone that would do the job well, but even though the Navy PM loved it, the leadership went to a tanker drone instead.

It won't work. UAV "pilots" are by definition cowards. The only way make to make this feasible is to have them and their air conditioned bunkers full of Cheetos and Rockstar energy drinks inside Ukraine. But they are cowards so that isn't happening because the won't take long to figure out where said air conditioned bunkers full of Cheetos and Rockstar energy drinks are located and the Russians turn them into ashes.

There is also the little matter of these UAVs are controlled via several satellites. So the US has to cook up the Ukraine has a functioning space program and has put satellites into orbit, which nobody over the age of 12 will believe...especially the Russians. The Russians also have satellites and their intel is just as good as ours. The Russians also have satellite busters (so do the Chinese) and they have tested them and they work. So when the first drone flies into Ukraine to engage a Russian Mig World War III will instantly start and before Russia throws a nuke at Jew York City they shoot down our satellites to kill that UAV communication.

Whoever wrote this article is a total dumbass. Probably one of Biden's flunkies.

Interesting part is the satellite link, yes, that is one weak spot (beside the other ones)

One may fantasize about autonomous drones, but still, they need logistics, landing strips, fuel, servicing....

I agree on the total dumbass idea, hopefully he is not some sort of military advisor.
