I wonder what the likelihood that Ukraine is actually doing this is? Or are these actions being done covertly by US/Nato powers under the cover of Ukraine. The Ukrainians are routinely getting their asses handed to them and are kidnapping people off the streets to send to the front lines. That would make you wonder how they would obtain the significant resources to do these clandestine operations, operations that don't really do much to further their military aims, but do serve to further enrage the Russians. Seems to be something that would be done by an actor that desires an increase in hostilities.
I think CIA operatives probably did it. Ukraine may have helped, or not, but were told to take the "credit". The new guy under Zelensky now running their war effort is reportedly (MSM) a guerrilla warfare expert. Could be optics to make Putin look like he can't protect his people from Ukraine guerrillas. IDK, just spitballing until I see more info.
