Love thy neighbor was never in reference to neighboring countries. It was another way of saying "stay to your own."

You are misinformed. Try reading the parable of the good samaritan.

in the parable of the good samaritan the man was beaten bloody and left for dead. he was clearly suffering.

he wasn't "suffering" from homosexuality or transgenderism or structural racism

The verses leading to the parable consist of a lawyer loving God but not the people around him. He wanted to justify his disdain for people that weren't like him. Jesus calls for us to love others UNCONDITIONALLY. Just because I love someone who obviously has a multitude of sin in their life, doesn't mean I agree with their ideology. If looking at it from a spiritual perspective, as Jesus did, all who are outside of Him are suffering. They are suffering from spiritual influences and bondage of sin. Your neighbor is everyone, and anyone can be forgiven of their sins if they believe in Him and repent. Christ died for everyone, not just me and you.

If you read Luke 10 where they have the parable of the good Samaritan, Jesus himself uses that parable to explain who your "neighbor" really is. The idea is that you should love people who love you, and not pour your love on people who wouldn't help you when you need it.

I don't know what happened in the past, but we've had this bastardization of the lesson pushed on everyone to love everyone all the time. This is stupid and clearly not the point of the message. And it just goes to show you that people don't think anything through. If you look at sleeping around, you know the sin, because it leads to all sorts of potential problems. Yet loving people who don't care about you, or even hate you, could end up causing you far more trouble than screwing around with strangers.

And this!

>I have come to turn "'a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law

That's even more true today.

Most families have at least one brainwashed member in them who is blind to the truth, and who is contributing to their own destruction and the destruction of the world.

Fighting for what's best for our families, sometimes consist of fighting against our own family members.

"I came to this earth not to bring peace, but a sword."

[–] 1 pt

yeah, love thy neighbor was more of a reference to don't go where you don't belong and if you do and cause problems you are susceptible to retribution.

Amen! Lord Almighty, we pray you give us discernment in these matters that your Word be used according to your will.

Lot of disinformation lately. Hollywood isn't our heroes. They lie for a living. Politicians direct money to themselves. Jesus was right. Better than Plato or Cicero. Love these false unread book memes. Do harder.

Hollywood lies for the benefit of the people who control Hollywood.

Politicians direct money to their people. All candidates in the last two US presidential elections have Jewish grandkids, family, lineage, legacy, descendants, bloodline.

What do you mean by, "false unread book memes"? It's a direct quote from the Sermon on the Mount.

So sorry otherkin.

Otherkin?

I still don't understand what you're saying. But thanks for acknowledging you were wrong and apologising.

Because of this passage I almost never speak about religion or theology with someone unless they demonstrate honesty in discourse or a willingness to learn. They don't even have to agree with me. If they have these traits they will understand why I believe what I believe, and respect it, even if they don't agree. But I've learned not to waste my time talking to people who just want to dunk on Christians or whatever. Complete waste of time.

do not preach to the gentiles, only to the jews.

"Here jewy jewy jewy. We've got some nice "preaching" for you"

[–] 0 pt

Yep exactly, the Jews. Modern kikes are not biblical Jews.

Matthew 10:34-39

34Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. 37Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
