Correct. You don't send money to Africa, it goes to politicians. It never gets turned into aid of any kind. Ending hunger isn't possible but it sounds good.

As I understand it, world hunger is solved with $2 billion a year.

And the problem is distribution. Not everyone should be having babies. Feeding people who should not be having babies makes more poor people. So not all world hunger should be solved, education should be solved.
