Archiving not only prevents jews from taking pages down permanently or changing pages without anyone knowing, but it also adds a layer of tracking protection for the people that choose to read the article.

Wow, looks scary. I thought CNBC was a serious site. All i see on my browser is that it has 7 tracking cookies.

Almost all sites try to track and fingerprint users now days. Hell even the archiving site uses trackers. Archiving isn't really a cure, more of a bandaid. But it helps.

I like https://archive.today personally for important archiving, but https://web.archive.org/ is way faster if you just want to use it for the reasons above.

Wayback Machine https://web.archive.org/ is not free speech. It censors sites.
