Well, well, look who it is (again). TIGHAR has periodically "released" findings about Amelia for years now, always adding another "clue" to the mystery. It always ends with something like "...but to conclusively know will require a lot of expensive work. So please donate today to this vital effort".
From what I have seen, their salaries are their single highest expenditure. Maybe they actually are doing something of import, but they always have a tantalizing piece of information that requires funds to go any further, never quite reaching anything conclusive. I, for one, remain leery.
Yeah, a lot like that group of guys who have been digging up the Oak Island Treasure pit for ages now on a cable TV show. It doesn't even make for good TV when ya milk this stuff.
I am aware of that show, but only watched about 5 minutes once. I do have to say TIGHAR gives a better impression of credibility than those tv reality shows. They may actually have some related facts about Amelia, but I get the impression they dole them out with sensation for profit more than truly attempting to discover the "truth". It is of some interest and since I won't be sending them any money, I'll look at what they put out. It's good to at least see what's up. Thanks for posting.
