The strength, skill, and control is astounding. I love gymnasts, great bodies, but their discipline is also very attractive to me.

Imagine how many times she practiced this. Imagine how many times she failed, fucked up the routine, over and over in practice. Imagine how many times she nearly died or was maimed while practicing this. And she pressed on, and pulled it off. Truly a gem of a woman.

She's 17 in this video. Gymnasts are traditionally very young. I am very wary of people who say they find gymnasts "very attractive"

Pretty weird that you'd read that much into such an innocuous, objectively true statement when I was watching a video of a 17 year old competing at what I thought was the Olympics. Like you're projecting something you feel onto me.

If the subject of discussion was a six year old doing some gymnast routine and I said something like this, you'd have something, but you just sound gay or sus now.

Like you're projecting something you feel onto me.

That's what I thought reading the other dude's comment too. He's trying way too hard to scream "I'm not a pedo!!!", which usually means he's a pedo.

See that is what I call athleticism.

With the new leftist libtard policies, gymnastics and figure skating might by the only two sports biological females can retain as the trannytroon, clownworld squad invade all female sports as inferior biological male athletes with other biological males. So they just play women's sports and become faggots with bizarre surgeries.

When a tranny dies from prostate cancer do they officially say that? Or do they just say "cancer" to protect them living a horrendous lie? I don't associate with LGBTQASJW degenerates so I don't know how that works.

I don't know either. I'm still hoping for a backlash of epic proportions. If women are ok with men playing their sports then soon women will be playing men's sports as well, that should be funny. I'll go golfing, the women at the golf courses these days are pretty hot and we're not competing.

Mukhina does this exact move with a 360 degree twist years later. Unfortunately for her, she under rotated a salto on the floor exercise and broke her neck just before the 1980 Olympics, rendering her a quadriplegic.

So talented. Why'd they ban it?

I haven't researched why yet but watching it I'm sure it could cause catastrophic injury to practice. No hands, neck hits bar, ouch.

That's different from just about any other Olympics level routine how?

I followed up, the standing on the top bar was what they deemed too dangerous.

Mentally ill men can now compete as women.

It's not banned, it's just that the uneven bars are much further apart today (to account for giant swings that go around the high bar), it's impossible to do the whip around the low bar on the current uneven bars. There's far more dangerous shit they do than this these days.

Only women could come close to doing it, like even slightly close.

The best.

The book, Little Girls in Pretty Boxes is wild. Very good read. If at all interested in sports, you will like it.

Well the title sounds a tad like a pedo fantasy lol

I got chills from watching that execution. Just astounding!

I find women's gymnastics to be incredibly creepy.

Same here especially now that it includes adams apples

According to hit.com:

As per NY Daily News, the ‘dead loop’ or the Korbut flip was banned because there was a high level of risk involved.

The dead loop was performed by standing on a high bar, executing a backflip, and grasping the bar once more. Olga, who represented the Soviet Union at the 1972 Olympics in Munich, was the first and the last one to perform that stunt.

Olga’s performance earned her 9.8 out of 10. Later, as per the Code of Points, standing on the high bar was banned due to the risk involved. Thus, it was the end of the Korbut flip.
