I was listening to someone talk and when the subject of masculinity and femininity was brought up there was a good thought on the subject. The opposite of masculinity isn't femininity. It's immature boyishness; the impulsiveness, selfishness, irresponsible, uncaring portion of it. That's why today you see a lot of problems from man children that never grew up and act like perpetual children. It's not that there is too much masculinity in the world today, but not enough of it. Masculinity and femininity share a lot of the important traits with one another and are supposed to compliment each other in a healthy relationship. I still think there's a difference between the two. But there is a good amount of overlap.
