Churchill was a monster. Pure evil, yet today he is lauded as a saint. Goes to prove that history is written by the victor. And what's interesting is the vast evidence that Germany predominantly fought as gentlemen, while the west cheated and broke every convention of war they could. Nothing has changed since then. I doubt it ever will. Good doesn't win; cheaters do. Rules only exist to weaken the competition.
