it's a dumb joke. the "new friends" are KKK. Hence, the "pointy white bedsheet"
It's stupid because the KKK is a democrat political arm. Not that there is any real difference between red or blue in politics.
The KKK is a jewish run honeytrap and propaganda prop.
But jokes don't have to be accurate to be funny.
It has something to do with becoming part of a specific klan
