yeah you can tell when the distraction is being put on because they wont shut the fuck up about a single subject for days/weeks at a time, and literally nobody actually gives a fuck about any of it, at this point i'm convinced the media now solely exists to stroke the ego of the media, they don't even need viewers!

most of the front page of poal was filled with sub memes and related posts for 4+ days straight. That's called falling for it.

You're too harsh on yourself, they could pass a law making the LGBTQPZ++ flag the new official american flag tomorrow what could you or I or anybody do about it? Sue them? Well we could make fun of them that's for sure and maybe that's why they didn't already do it, the ridicule being probably deemed too much to bear at this point

Look at the bright side of things; if this was indeed mere distraction, the sub-and-poney-show, it at least gave birth to the video above in OP, which can easily be shared and highlight the stories which actually happened during the said sub-and-poney-show, to people who would have probably missed those anyways, sort of a streisand effect 2.0
