so cool. anything that involves helicopters + electricity is badass.

The line is arcing live electricity while he's doing this suspended in midair. Crazy! He appears to be attaching a safety chain while working, in case he falls, but wouldn't it drag him out of the 'copter if the pilot moved too far away? This requires absolute trust in your pilot. And a bit of a death wish.

yeah i don't know what that is. its not like he can just lower himself to the ground if something goes wrong with the helicopter.
