Yeah, Nintendo is kind of going fucking sideways these days. Then again, all of the console builders have been doing shit like this for ages. If you mod a modern xbox you might lose every single account related to Microsoft even if it has nothing to do with gaming. It's bad enough that if you get one of these shit-boxes you should probably create an account ONLY for it, with a payment method via privacy.com that is not tied to ANYTHING else you pay for.
