The rapidly growing storm developed overnight, moving from an unnamed tropical wave to a tropical depression to a named storm within a few hours. It's currently churning in the Atlantic, a few hundred miles from the Caribbean's Leeward Islands, a group that includes Antigua, St Kitts, and the British and US Virgin Islands, with sustained winds of 50 mph. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) has already updated their prediction for Humberto, saying it will become a Category 3 hurricane by early Sunday morning, with winds surging to more than 110 mph.
