Most everybody needs to make money to survive. There is no such thing as true non-profit organizations when everyone is on someone's payroll. All of these organizations are still run by money.
The real question we need to be asking for ourselves is, how much money do people truly need to live fulfilled lives? The answer can be found by looking at the material things they own. The bigger, fancier, and more vane the material possessions are, the larger the void inside them.
Judge people by what they own and what more they aspire to own. The more they focus on materialism, the more you should stay away from them. Because the chances are, they look at you as just another material as well.
