Covid deaths - for the alpha variant and possibly others - was more like 30 deaths per 10,000 cases. Vaccines cause roughly 0.3 deaths per 10,000 vaccinated, from what I could gather from the published statistics. Which is terrible for a vaccine, and if it wasn't for all the hysteria it wouldn't have been approved. It's enough to incite an authoritarian government to mandate it, to keep more of its farm population from dying off.
Thing is, from what I can gather, the delta variant of covid may not even be as bad as 0.3 deaths per 10,000 cases. It's more like a typical flu.
