"Family restaurants" and fast food restaurants became popular after women joined the workforce. They serve huge portions of low cost, low quality, high calorie food leading to obesity. Frozen dinners also became popular. Real restaurants with real chefs and adult diners serve moderate portions of well prepared. high quality food.

This is dead on, and I own and operate a resturant. I opened one because I'm out of the states and couldn't justify any other way to have proper western food and all other options were shit.

The city required it, not the restaurant. Find restaurants doing this without government requirements to concentrate your efforts to those that really suck.

Obviously don't comply simply because its the government that is requiring it. In that case you just doing go, but don't harass them for it. It's not them. Save your harassment for businesses who push this crap on customers and workers voluntarily.

Yes, def focus on those businesses. Especially ones that you know were doing it before the city required it.

I know of a 'comic shop' that was doing it as soon as possible. Trying to think of ways to fuck them.
