The sick thing is that half the population will sublimate to, and feign alliance with, whatever entity controls the media they consume.

The average person has no moral standards whatsoever beyond whatever (believe system) it takes to ensconce themselves securely within the social hierarchy, no matter how corrupt or irrational it may be.

Even sicker is that maybe half the "resistance" opposing the mainstream media is just sublimating to resistance propaganda rather than actually opposing the "sublimate to authority" process. Fully-compensated, paid-shill ANTIFA "Rebels" comes to mind.
