It's not impossible, if you fell asleep in the sun and didn't shift the mask for long enough for such a sharp suntan to form... But I still doubt it.

How do people even fall asleep in the sun? I can't even fall asleep unless the room I'm in is pitch black.

At least she was wearing an N95 so it offered some protection against fine particles.

It's a decent photoshop, but a pro level 'shop job would know that tan lines aren't straight edged like that. Sunburns, yes. Tan lines are more diffuse. If there was about 1/4-1/2" gradient along the edges it would look far more real.
