The elite work by creating propaganda or information that leads the individual. It's not that the establishment doesn't have enough data, it's that the citizen individuals don't have enough data, and they're being led to identify with the establishment. It's the individuals diving in without any information, learning the hard way that they're diving into a scam. In other words, because the simpleton identifies with the establishment, the establishment knowingly speaks as if they are the simpleton, the simpleton identifying with the establishment. That way the statements made by the media are echoed by the simpleton because the simpleton thinks they are his own statements.
