the brain uses neural connections to recall information so if the connection is to a sound you can. It's like you can recall with a smell or an image a smell like seeing an image of a great beef stew will allow that smell into my mind just for a moment but it's still enough to make me hungry and the reason some fast food uses images and not just words to sell food like burgers.
