Found that shortly after posting, thanks though.
This is great, thanks!
No problem, this curriculum is a big part of what gave me the confidence to homeschool.
We're very much considering this route. Thanks subby.
In the pre-scamdemic times, parents were never as involved as they are now with the incompetence of the teachers in the school system. They see the failure of their child's learning as the result of their removal from the schools. This is errant thinking...
We are being gas lighted from the real problem, which is the incompetent teachers and curriculum.
As far as the students failing or doing poorly right now, moving to an online experience?
It is not a surprise and should be totally expected because so many people were shoved out of their comfort zone by the scamdemic.
It is a paradigm shift that will take a little time to adjust to, for children and especially parents.
Children's brains are now rewiring to actually learn, what they were not doing in the classrooms.
I believe online school is the wave of the future, it promotes self learning and especially strengthens children's cognitive reasoning and decision making without peer pressure and bullying by teachers. I do not see the removal of students from the communist indoctrination that our government promotes in the schools. And the enormous amount of pedophiles that entrench the educational system...
I see it as one positive outcome from this hoax. Freedom for the children from brainwashing and predators.
Excellent post.
It should be noted that Ron Paul is in no way involved with this curriculum. I'm all for home schooling, but do your research on this one. I've read some bad reviews...
Edit: this one in particular comes to mind, but I've seen a few others that have had issues. https://lilthelovebug.wordpress.com/2016/02/29/the-truth-about-gary-north-the-ron-paul-curriculum/
Bottom line: I'm sure there's a lot of value to the education, just don't be lured into thinking that Ron Paul is really involved in any way with the curriculum. He may endorse it and allow his name and face on their website, but that's it.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the post. I’ve been homeschooling this past year and things have been good overall. Just yesterday my wife and I talked about an option of the sort you posted. Not sure I’ll go with that particular option, but it does seem that online schooling is the future.
TBH, this curriculum is a mixed bag.
Good: Anything that Tom Woods touches.
Terrible: Math, science, etc.
AOP is worlds better on all fronts.
AOP?
I looked it up. It’s a catholic curriculum.
Christian, not Catholic. (And, there are no requirements to take any Bible classes if that isn't your thing.)
