California used to be everything the songs said about it,and it was awesome. Now… ugh.

Sad times.

The once-upon-a-Land of Milk and Honey has been dumbed and browned down and now waddles and wheezes toward ruination. Damn shame.

All the leaves are brown And the sky is grey

I grew up in a socal beach city. I went back a few years ago and it was 95% nigger. My uncle still lives there...he said, NOOO that's in the other city.... Literally the border is a street 3 blocks from his house... Total boomer in complete denial on how infested it is there.

I was in Cal. in 68 and the people were normal. I went back in 98 and they are crasy.

I only deal in facts. It is so bad i made a trip to Vegas and the Canyon, AZ. and Utah and i avoided the Cal. border several times.

If you want a relatively quiet SoCal beach experience I'd recommend Pismo in San Luis Obispo county. I used to travel up and down the state a couple times a year and would stop there for lunch when I could. It's the northernmost beach that feels like SoCal on a decently warm day, with a nice wide sandy beach and relatively few people. Granted it's been several years now since I've seen it myself, but SLO in general was always a great pitstop before entering the madness of SoCal proper. Montana de Oro park nearby has some nice low key beach camping as well

Enjoy the nostalgic pictures. Those times are gone forever and will not return
