Nobody tells of the valor, battle spirit, and bravery of anyone with the Reich, or any of the axis powers. It's total bullshit how they portray the allies as these great soldiers over and over and nothing on the other side. I don't understand how the average person can't think that maybe the good guys don't always win the war. Seems pretty fishy how the, "good guys" always win.

I often wonder if we've been conditioned to view things as "black and white" or "good vs evil" at an almost compulsory level. We like things to be nice and neat- we like to think that the "bad guys" are just that, and ONLY that- bad, and they need to be stopped. They don't have any interests besides being "bad".

They don't have families they're fighting for, they don't have political reasons for fighting, they don't have a vision of a good future for themselves and their kind- no, they're just monsters and need to be killed, and only when they are all killed or surrender does "good" triumph.

You can see this in action with the Ukraine/Russian conflict. Personally, I view the Ukrainian government as being more despicable than the Russians- but the Russians' hands aren't clean, and to deny that would be silly. But the average NPC will literally say "Russia invaded for no raison!", and are completely oblivious to what journalists have been calling a "genocide" perpetrated against the civilians in eastern Ukraine for almost two decades now. They think that Russia just decided "Okay we want the Ukraine now, we'll be taking it and killing anybody who opposes". It's so much more complicated than that... but don't try telling them that.

Hilariously, they'll call you a Nazi. Don't even bother reminding them of who Russia's greatest enemy in open conflict has been in the last 100 years, that'll definitely push you into "Nazi-hood".

When NPCs short-circuit and start chanting "Hitler-Nazi-Fascist!!!" on a loop is how you know they got nothing else to say so you can hit [End the conversation] and move on. It's hilarious.

All that war and fighting and you can see that they are still in good mood and spirit. That's the effect of knowing what you are fighting for and knowing that it's right.

100%. Their smiles are infectious and their bravery is beyond honorable.

What an amazing generation of strong White men and women.

My personal fave is 5/SS Wiking along with 1/ LSSAH. AFRIKA KORPS. is in there as well.

In the present, modern, recorded history.* This NOT to detract. This is to expand. Read about the feats of Germanic, Greek, Roman and prior champions. The world's strongest men now - Eddie Hall, Halfthor, Brian Shaw etc. - are nothing. Watch Asha Logos' video on Alexander The Great.

Excellent video though.

It's ironic you mentioned Alexander. I was just researching his life and the aftermath of his death.

Did you look into possibly the greatest speech ever made by a man? Hang on a sec...

Here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlKJDwViNKs

He was 31 years old when he made this speech. Summary: as his campaign into the middle east continued, he tried to send a handful of Macedonian troops back home- most of them were officers who had grown old or been maimed somehow, or become very ill. It was a calculated decision to send them home. A lot of the officers perceived this as a slight to their honor, and then they organized a mutiny.

Men loyal to Alexander discovered it and informed him quickly- he was able to have 13 of the loudest dissenters who were leading the mutiny rounded up, and executed. Then, he delivered this speech, largely considered to be the greatest speech in history. We have no way of knowing exactly what was said, but the men who heard it and recorded it all reported something similar, and in that video, a close approximation of what was said is probably delivered.

He told the Macedonians that they could leave, he didn't care. He reminded them of everything that his father had done for Macedonia, then reminded them of everything he had done for them. He reminded them that he had fought alongside them, being wounded just like them, that he stood watch at night while his men slept, that he didn't get to eat or rest much more than they did. He reminded them of their conquests, of everything that they'd achieved under his command, of all the benefits and riches they now had because of him. He reminded them that they are well paid, allowed to plunder, pay no taxes, their families honored back home.

After reminding them of these things, he simply said "So, if you want to go, then leave! Maybe the Gods will view your actions as worthy, maybe the people back home will view you as glorious when they find out you left your king under the protection of the foreigners you conquered with him."

I imagine after he was done speaking, the soldiers threw themselves at his feet, crying and begging for forgiveness. It is said that it was quite emotional as basically all of the men begged for forgiveness, swore their allegiance anew, and then Alexander forgave them. He was unbelievably intelligent, in many facets- outside of warfare, he was very socially adept. He knew what motivated men, he knew how to motivate them. Many kings/generals of the time would've simply had every last man who expressed doubt executed... and then been left with a devastated army, many of the surviving men now bitter as piss because their buddies were just executed for having natural doubts while so far away from home in a foreign land.

Alexander was smarter than this. He killed those 13 guys because they were traitors and couldn't be redeemed, but he realized he could probably spare the army with a little manipulation. He essentially laid a massive guilt trip on them, and then gave them his express permission to leave and do whatever they wanted. Suddenly, nobody wanted to leave anymore, all they wanted to do was serve him. He went from the verge of being murdered by his own men in a mutiny, to having the most fanatically loyal army with just 13 executed mutineers and a short speech. Fucking astounding.

Then, he died a year later from a "mysterious illness". I think it's pretty obvious that he was poisoned, he had a lot of enemies... and he liked to drink, excessively. Slipping him poison wouldn't have been hard. Weren't his final words something like "The pain! My stomach is riddled with holes!"? Sounds like a poisoning to me.

He was murdered by a sneaky kike. Some regionally poisonous plant is theorized to be what was used.

Then his mother and some of his generals and heirs were murdered too. Fucking kikes everytime in plots. Then with random murders it's usually niggers.

I follow the WSM folk just to see what they're up to, and to keep tabs on (supposedly) Humanity's greatest. While it's true they're strong, something tells me they're not the strongest to ever live. And they even admit it themselves at some point in their careers. They're domesticated, safe, sanitized. It's mostly a show-off strength to compete on camera. Have they ever used their strength to defend their families, their nation, to defeat their enemies? Doubtful.

You can only have fun trying to defeat an enemy which needed to be defeated. One side was smiling on the frontlines.

No matter what the history books tell us... These are some of the toughest soldiers to have walked the earth.

I like the part around 3:08 where a dog is just sitting upright and riding shotgun with some SS badasses in an open top APC.

Totally fearless.

RIP to the fallen Waffen heroes.

I wanna hear true storys of engagements and battles from the perspective of the Germans for a change.

I once found a jootube channel that may have been from some War Academy or institute that collated actual AAR (After Action Reports) written by the Field Commander etc and matched with accurate captured ww2 Battle maps and related some German engagements in the context of some wider operation. Was super interesting. Much of the Russian Front stuff was just insane.

EDIT: fun fact , most think 'Kursk' was the single largest engagement (men, material) however truth is it was simply one of about up to 7-9 similar sized engagements. Part of the reason no one is aware is bc the records are all in the Soviet War archives and it was strictly German vs Russian and not so much the Soviets are hiding it away, but more they never felt the need to declassify them/ cold war bla bla and allow researchers access to the records.

Huge massive monumental battles on such a vast scale - Germany lost most of it's manpower / KIA in russia and it was where most of Germany's reinforcements were going. 'A meat grinder'.

The Battle of Berlin was nuts as well. Apparently all allied command stopped at the Rhine because they knew the Soviets were going to have a blood bath. This error lead to the iron curtain.

Loyal SS units fought until the death and some of the battle footage is insane.

Then after Germany lost, 2 million women were raped and streets were pillaged. The rape of Berlin. This ultimately led to complete chaos and destruction as most Germans took a fight to the death option over surrender. Regardless, many were still captured and died in death marches to Siberia.

This all culminated with Patton calling out Eisenhower and Montgomery by saying "we fought for the wrong side". Then Patton was assassinated, Japan was jew-bombed and the longest war in American history began after Israel was created.

The Cold War.

We definitely fought for the wrong side.

Communists and jews were the enemy, but there was no holocaust so America lost in every way. Then their "ally" Soviet Union betrayed them immediately and started a 45 year war of bizarre behavior and dysfunctional law.

Yes, the Fall of Berlin, inevitable collapse and chaos, despair, futility, resignation, and heroism. Have Read most of the mainstream 'history' books - meh overall - but several personal accounts/ books detailing different aspects of it i find more appealing and interesting, same as some of the individually written books on the major engagements preceding the Fall - Selow heights et al . Many of the storys of fighting retreats from the Eastern Front are fascinating and completely engrossing.
