Not just the veil, but also the whole headscarf (which they call hijab) should be banned. It makes me chuckle when popular liberal companies use hijabi women in their marketing videos, and posters to empower women. lol. It seems like they completely forgot, or pretend like they don't know the purpose of the headscarf is to restrict the freedom of women. If you see a woman walking down the street wearing a either a veil or a hijab, it means her freedom is restricted. If you tried to help her, she won't remove it because they are brainwashed from their childhood to wear it. There is nothing objectively right, or wrong, people define them with their own rules, and society carries them forward as culture, and law. That's why muslim women think it's wrong to remove it, because they don't realize their own chains.
