i find it kinda messed up that you cant sell your own blood, it can only be donated, but the red cross can happily go to impoverished neighborhoods, and buy your blood for 10$ and sell it for 100 times more.

Why would I donate blood when it can go to any number of people that I'd rather not sustain the life of? In fact, I don't want blood from another in me either. It's always disgusted me.
