So 37% of their electricity is going to get cut off today. That is going to hurt. It wasn't very clear why this is happening. The words "difficulty in accepting payments" are not very informative, but maybe it has something to do with Russia demanding payment in rubles.

Russia to Stop Supplies of Electricity to Finland as of May 14 75K 1 min. ...

Russia's Inter RAO subsidiary, RAO Nordic Oy, will suspend electricity supplies to Finland as of 1 a.m. May 14, according to Finnish company Fingrid, which manages the country's power grids. Earlier, Fingrid reported that from April 24, the company will cut electricity imports from Russia by one-third, to 900 MW from 1,300 MW.

"According to RAO Nordic, electricity trading will be suspended for a while due to difficulties with the acceptance of payments for electricity sold on the market," Fingrid said in a statement. The report stresses that there is no threat to the Finnish electricity market.

According to Inter RAO (a unified Russian electricity export and import operator), at the end of 2021 the export of electricity from Russia amounted to 21.77 billion kWh (the maximum in the last ten years). Finland accounted for 8.2 billion kWh (37% of the total volume).
