Looks like EU is giving up it's Climate Change facade. This just proves renewables can't power a modern economy, they are just using that to implement a global carbon tax.

No they won't. They're so tyrannical and mouth-frothing fanatical about climate change, they will literally allow their citizens to be starving and dying and burning down their parliament buildings in protest before they switch back to coal.
