What is this "change" bullshit? Anyone can call the event anything they like. They can call it a "genocide." They can call it a "famine." They can call it a "natural disaster" which is what it was since nobody could predict the potato blight. Or they can call it "Mary" if they wish. What they cannot do is force other people to call it what they want it to be called.
