I was in Big Sky, Montana recently. The entire mountain is cashless. I went to buy a burger after a day on the mountain. They literally would not take my $20 bill. They said it was a trial run but it was really odd especially because I prefer to use cash when I’m out.
EDIT: the entire mountain that is Big Sky Resort, not the entire mountain town of Big Sky, Montana.
