No. El Salvador is a police state. They surrounded a whole village. And provided zero evidence of an officer being killed at all. Anyone with a tatoo at all will be arrested and held prisoner without any legal recourse until the government decides to give them a trial if at all. Yes they've cleaned up the gangs, but at what cost to the civilians?

If the civilians actually had rights and were armed they would never had such a breakout of gang violence in the first place.

President of El Salvador sends 5,500 soldiers to surround the gang members.
How can you not love this dude, President Bukele is outstanding.

WTF? Hey CitizenFreePress ... this isn't a good thing. You don't want this in America.

You need your police to be police and your military to be military. Different training and different functions in a healthy society.

(El Salvador is FAR from a healthy society... This is a desperation move from a failed state with a corrupt and incompetent policing system. But, not something to be modeled or even praised.)
