Losing 25 EVs is the big issue for this author? It's going to increase the cost of all EVs for sure but it also will remind people how stupid evs are.

Losing 25 EVs is the big issue for this author?

And the big issue for you would be a price increase? Neither of you mentioned how shitty this is for the Ocean...

It's going to increase the cost of all EVs for sure

The loss of 25 cars will not affect the price. That's barely 0.00025% of all EVs on the road. 🙄 They can't afford to raise the price. Especially in the U.S. where EVs make up barely 1% of all the vehicles on the road. Everyone already knows EVs are stupid. Nobody needs a reminder.

Yes it will increase the price of shipping. One car is such a high risk it can take down a whole ship.

Shipping and insurance costs. Use your noggin first before running your mouth.

This isn't the first time and certaily won't be the last. The prices will not be affected on the consumer level at all. People aren't buying enough of them. Prices will remain the same until there is more interest in places like the U.S. and Europe.

Unless someone can give a guaranteed method of keeping EVs from turning into plasma flame throwers this will be the last set ever transported on a large cargo ship.

What shipping company would want these things in their cargo after this?

If I managed cargo ships I would be frantically going through every upcoming cargo load for every one of my ships and removing all EVs. Deal with cancelling and refunds later. For now just keep these fireballs off of my ships.

Conspicuosly absent: any mention of negative effects on the ocean. Those cars are going to leak toxins and poison the waters.

Now, you green fuckheads. Let's talk about the environmental impact of this toxic waste burning to water level and sinking, thus contaminating an entire are for probably well over 100 miles.
