The US has been at war for my entire adult life. We've wasted the lives of my family, friends, and coworkers and receive nothing in exchange. The same leaders are basically still in charge and they will happily waste the lives, health, and financial well being of the next generation as well.

Both could be obtained if we were energy independent. So obviously the people responsible for shutting down domestic production want war.
