Usually parents can put content control on their computers for their children if they wish. Google Play is trying to be a patriarchal company and treat everyone like a child. Why not let everyone choose for themselves what content they can get?

It's the parents they are trying to control.

Twitter hosts porn yet they are on the play store. It clearly isn't about content. Unless that content might disagree with 'current thing'.

It's not "content moderation concerns", it's "content compliance concerns".

And of course this journalist was coding with the phrase "Trump continues to spread misinformation regarding the 2020 election " - can't keep that editorial propaganda out of it, can they..
