With all this back and forth on how bad the tariffs are for the economy, not one of the people complaining or predicting doom see the fact that nearly everything we buy is from a foreign country instead of being made inside the USA. They don't see that being nearly 100% dependent on countries like china is the real crisis. They just want their cheap plastic doodads and shiny baubles even though our country suffers from non-existent manufacturing ability. The real solution to all of this is manufacturing independence. We need to get back to making real goods in the US instead of just the small shit like decorative items and other low end, low skill garbage products. We need to be making cars, washing machines, industrial equipment and high tech back in America again.
